This year we’re experimenting with Facebook’s Causes and this Blog to help get the word out on our work in Tanzania (see: http://centerforglobalinitiatives.org/projects_Tanzania.cfm ).

We need to raise a minimum of $5000 to help buy food, medications, and educational supplies for patients and orphaned kids.

We are fighting marasmus, malaria, TB, and injured children in collaboration with local doctors, nurses, and indigenous staff. We will have a particular focus on people with HIV infection as well as simply helping to buy food.

They need your support in this effort by contributing generously. You can do so easily and securely at: http://centerforglobalinitiatives.org/donateNow.cfm . Whatever you can give will help – it all adds up!

Remember, CGI is a 100% volunteer organization, so all tax-deductable donations go to the work, not to salaries, fundraising, etc….

Please send your tax-deductible donation this month.

Even just a $1 makes a difference.

Cheers, and thanks,

Chris
